Description
A Blanc De Chine Dehua Guanyin from the late 19th century. Depicted here as Goddess of the Southern Sea, standing above waves and the head of a carp (Li), a symbol of power, profit, and strength. She is beautifully modeled holding a ruyi scepter and adorned with jewelry.
Condition
Nice condition. The ruyi scepter was broken off and glued, also a bead on the back has been broken off. There is a firing crack and what appears to be have been repaired some at the time of production.
