Description
This is a late 19th century blue and white Guangxu period beaker vase with flared trumped rim. Done in 'Kangxi revival' style made popular by the Dowager Empress Cixi's love for Kangxi porcelain and art, the vase is covered in beautiful blue lotus scroll with Ruyi border. The bottom bears a four character Kangxi mark.
Condition
The rim has been restored. Firing line in the glaze on the inside of the vase, this does not go through the glaze on the front, but can be felt as a minor distortion in the body.
