Description

A beautifully painted pair of famille rose vases in a tapered ovoid form with short neck.  Each vase has two different scenes within a rich sapphire blue underglaze cartouche, a total of four unique decorations.  A small landscape cartouche on the side of each vase beneath a colorful mix of floral spray done in pink, iron red,and underglaze blue on a scrolling gilt ground.  The vases are the same with slight variations.

Condition

One vase with hairline that has been professionally conserved and line on foot. Other vase with small firing hairline on rim.
